    Quiet your mind

    In our societies, we are constantly expected to do, to think, to go here and there, non-stop, simply to survive. We rarely have the time to relax and calm our minds. Anxiety is a perfectly natural response to such demands and we all experience it. It manifests through feelings of worry, nervousness, or unease. When it becomes excessive, however, it can affect our lives dramatically and interfere with our ability to function normally. It can be very mentally exhausting, overwhelming and quite painful at times. Like an unwanted guest, it invites itself so slowly but surely, that we sometimes only notice when it has taken over and manifested in other forms: OCD, phobias, addictions, IBS, lack of self-confidence, isolation, social anxiety, procrastination, muscle and joint pain, etc.

    The good news is that when anxiety is better managed, these side effects can begin to shift too. Anxiety is essentially based on our perception of ourselves and our environments. Solution Focused Hypnotherapy uses trance, positive suggestions and CBT to gently help shift your negative perceptions and recognise your full potential. I want you to be able to face challenges calmly and with confidence. A bonus: it offers you time to relax every week!

    DEPRESSION

    Reconnect with joy

    Depression has become a common health condition. It’s not surprising considering the unrealistic demands of our environments. It’s a way of protecting ourselves against perceived danger. We retire in ourselves and endure incessant ‘mind attacks’, multiple self-deprecating thoughts. We can feel inadequate, not good enough, rejected, lonely, and it can translate into persistent feelings of sadness or numbness. Some of us even try to disguise it with fake jolliness. It can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems and can impact our daily life, relationships, and overall well-being. It can feel like sinking into the depth and darkness of the ocean, unable to see a future.

    During our first consultation, I’ll explain to you what occurs in your brain that causes you to feel trapped in that depression. That awareness alone often brings comfort to many clients. Solution Focused Hypnotherapy uses CBT to help you regain control of your daily life. We’ll also use a trance to ‘access your subconscious’, meaning put you in a state that promotes relaxation to help slowly reopen yourself and lift the weight from your shoulders. The goal is to help you find that underneath it all, dormant, your true power, innate confidence and vibrant energy are hiding. To help you slowly start to shift beliefs that don’t serve you and focus on those which align with your best self; finally able to perceive and manifest a positive future. I’ll support you as best as I can during this healing journey.

    PTSD - TRAUMA

    Feel at home in your body

    Some distressing situations we go through can be traumatic. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a condition that can develop after a person has been exposed to a traumatic event. It is often associated exclusively to post-war trauma. But it includes experiences such as a life-threatening situation, natural disaster, physical or emotional abuse, childbirth, or witnessing a traumatic event. It manifests differently in different people. Symptoms of PTSD may include flashbacks, nightmares, severe anxiety, and uncontrollable thoughts about the event. It can significantly impact a person's daily life and relationships. It is like a paralysing fear that can make you feel like the world isn't a safe place. And since PTSD became a mental health diagnosis fairly recently, many people who suffer from it aren’t aware of it.

    Just like for treating Anxiety, Solution Focused Hypnotherapy can allow to shift the thoughts that are keeping you in a Flight Fight Freeze mode to more empowering thoughts. Using trance to help modify the beliefs lodged in the subconscious mind and erase that notion of constant danger and CBT to apply this feeling of safety in the real world, when you’re ready. Steadily, the limitations can melt away and help you free yourself from fear.

    PHOBIAS

    Release the chains

    We all have fears, it’s natural. But phobias are particularly intense irrational fears of specific objects, situations, or activities. Some of us with phobias often go to great lengths to avoid the source of our fear, which can significantly impact our daily lives. They can cause profound distress and develop from various factors, such as genetics, past experiences, and learned behaviours. They can make us feel vulnerable and powerless.

    Solution Focused Hypnotherapy can help us manage our fears in a safe and controlled manner. For specific phobias, we use different techniques during trance, that can allow your brain to rewire and erase the fears. For more complex phobias, we’ll usually do more sessions: we'll start by helping with reducing your anxiety, and then use techniques designed to help melting the fears and all the forms they use to manifest. The goal is for you to be able to live your life more fully, and more in control of your emotions. It can also create very positive side effects like feelings of freedom, peace and joy.

    SMOKING - VAPING

    Breathe easy

    Smoking is a common habit that can be detrimental and significantly impact your health, sometimes leading to serious conditions. Quitting smoking can substantially lower the chances of developing these health issues and enhance your overall health, the quality of your breathing, your sense of smell and taste etc. And while the number of smokers in the UK is dropping, vaping is on the rise. Little is known about the risks of vaping, as it is only a recent phenomenon. Your decision to quit smoking or vaping is a powerful investment in your future self.

    It is through a two hour session that I’ll help you to eradicate the habit, with Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. Indeed, while it can seem difficult to stop, smoking is often more of a deep program than a deep addiction. Therefore, by discussing your habit, suggestions during the trance and your full commitment, it is possible to stop smoking. With an 80% success rate, research finds that Hypnotherapy is the one of the most effective and lasting method to kick the habit.
